In this topic you can ask me what you want to know about TopsCNC. I will add the frequently asked question to the main design page here :
TopsCNC Heavy - Design page

But please, read this topic BEFORE ask a question, maybe someone already ask the same question !

The goal of this topic is to stay clear, so each others can find answers too ;)

Hi   Sawadeekap

First of All

Great Concept     I really like it

I planed a long time to build a cnc-router  for me.

I will go with your concept.

But as i want to build it bigger, i couldn´t get lead srews in this dimensions. I think i need to change to belts instead of lead srews.

Did you thought about belts instead of lead srews before and why u didn´t use belts? Are they not strong enough?

I forgot to tell, I live in Thailand and there it is not possible to get this dmensions of lead-screws.

My desired size is about 1500 x 2500 mm

Gratulations again to your built

Klaus

I am currently working on Nema 23 version, with T12 leadscrew support, i think we can find 2000mm or more in T12 instead of T8

Topsie, I was having a hard time sourcing larger than 2000mm in either the leadscrews or extrusions. Curious to see what you find!

Bonjour,

Merci

A+

Hello topsie I wanted to ask you if you can help me with the connection of the power button, from the video it seems that you also use a button but I can not figure out how to connect it. Also do you think the end of the race should be mounted? In case of how do they mount ?

Re,

Merci Topsie, je vais continuer ma liste d'achats.

A+

hello topsie, you indicate a 5A 60W power supply but if nema 17 are at 2A x 4 = 8A + arduino and sheild and driver I think they also consume.  So the power supply that you indicated and that I purchased is not small?
