Hello
I have made a version TopsCNC Heavy 23 with a Linear Glet bearing. Better stiffness, higher accuracy. I use a 1.5kW square spindle with air cooling. Therefore the front plate is slightly different. Furthermore I made a SFU 1204 ball screw adjustment and installed Nema 23 for the Z axis.
All to be found on Thingivese.

I have seen and followed your build from a while, very nice and impressive job !

With me it is finally going on. Yesterday plugs arrived from China, after a long wait. Tomorrow the first hard test.
When I have tested enough, I will install SFU 1204 ball screw to see if it is worth the effort. For all who come after me...
My YouTube channel is in German, so I did not publish here.
But there will be videos soon.
I milled the first part in the wood. Works great! Here is a video, as always in German, but you can also see what it is all about...

The linear version of the TopsCNC Heavy with Nema 23 Offers more satbility due to the rails that are screwed on the rear side. Less installation depth of the Z axis.
The Nema 23 motor on the Z axis can move heavier spindle motors. Unfortunately the Nema 17 motor on my machine was not able to move the spindle.
I have prepared the conversion to SFU12 spindle, but have not done it yet. The Y axis is 30min, but the X axis has to be removed completely... This keeps me from doing it until now. But it will come.

Here is the motor relief. Nema 23 Heavy
I am currently working on a SFU1204 variant.
