Great Job Kamil!! i have a nema 17 topsie cnc with some upgrades and pieces i designed to fit my cnc. Totally agree with your new design and that's what i was looking for.. Great upgrade! could you say the length of the linear rail to order it ? and what kind of linear you using. Great job and keep moving. that's the way. Regards
You need to buy something longer and cut it to size. Unfortunately, this did not work differently with the arrangement of the holes on the rail. It should fit the holes on the Z plate in the longer version of Topsie. So that both parts of the Z plate can be screwed.
Hi kamil,
Yes why didn't youput linear tech on X Axix. You done on Z, redrawn parts for but didn't made it for X. For the Z plate your for square spindle is not usable asit is for mine spindle or Makita (the have same diam.)
Here is mine :
I need step file or fusion file to modify the plate or at least holes space arragement to go with your schlitteLinear guide for x and y axis will come in my next mill. I have only rebuilt the z axis because I found the bolt guide + two-piece, very unstable and unsuitable for my heavy engine. The X and Y axis on rollers are enough for now for my purposes. I'm learning to deal with it and my next mill will be aluminum on linear guide.
Give me your email address and I'll send you the data tonight.
Hi kamil,
here it is : marc-dot-gautsch-arobase-free-dot-fr
You need to write something more understandable. Where is @? Should the - with or without?
Sorry Kamil, -dot- mean "." and -arobase- mean "@"......i made so to limite email fishing
The "why" is understandable. There were just too many symbols... You must have gotten the link. If you need anything extra, let me know.
Hallo kamil, vielen dank alles ist in box.
Marc
Hello Kamil I had some questions, the spindle you are using is 1.5KW / er11 spindle or 2.2KW / er20 spindle?
the axis for the translation of the Z is a T8 axis and the drive motor a nema 23 like the other Motor?
Thank you in advance for your answers
Good evening
