Modified TopsCNC from Germany 🇬🇧
Hallo

C-Beam is better, unfortunately also much more expensive. I use a mix, top stainless steel wheels, bottom plastic. All stainless steel would wear the aluminum profiles too much. The stiffness is so good that I can also mill aluminum.
@Kamil,
Thank you, I downloaded the files and will go through them and decide on how I can implement your mods along with replacing multiple x-axis profiles with a single C-Beam. I will keep in mind the interesting point you made about the use of the SS bearings on the top for stiffness.
This is going to be the first time printing the cnc parts (previously with my mpcnc build, I had purchased from v1engineering directly). I am trying to figure out what are the best slicer settings I should use to get a balance between strenght/stiffness vs time taken to print/amount of filament used. I have a stock Ender 3 v2 printer and I have ordered sets of 0.2 and 0.6mm nozzles.
I have read others are using 0.60mm nozzle at 0.4 layer height, and 35% gyroid
infil for the bulk of these prints with PLA. Cutting print time in half and getting very good results. I would welcome any tips you can give on what has been your experience.
I have the parts with Ender 5, PLA, 50% fill, 50mm/s, 0.5mm nozzle. In the sliser I had set 0.4mm nozzle. So I got a little more stable layers.

Hi Kamil, I am really impressed with your work. I would like to realize your version of CNC with the students of the training center where I work. Can you please share with me the Fusion360 files you have created.
Thank you very much.

Thank you very much Kamil, it works, I have downloaded your project.
Greetings
Hi Kamil great adapt:)
I have few questions
You have two files on thingverse,is that shims for bottom and top?
Does the shims are essential in Your project,or is it just an add on to change pressure of wheels to the profiles (changebale thickness,so everybody can adjust it??)
I have t8 lead screw,Does the position of holes for the bolts in printed cube (for t8 leadscrew ) changes ,or is the same as for tops cnc heavy?? I want to adapt your files for tops cnc heavy .whole cart/trolley and want to leave nema17 and makita router...
And could i get access to step files? My email grabowskiw99.at.gmail.com
It's a spacer and everyone has to adjust that. In my drawing are two versions. One of them is for t8
Nie jestem pewien czy dobrze zrozumialem. Napisz po polsku.

@Kamil
Yes you understood good:) .Thank You very much for the fusion file
Te dokladki sa do regulowania nacisku. Zobacz sobie na rysunku. Ja je wydrukowalem w kilku wariantach i wsadzilem pasujace.
Jezeli masz Makita to odpowiednie trzymadlo tez zrobilem.
