From logic I deduce that this 1,5 mm pitch will move the axes at a smaller speed than the 2mm pitch. In this case will the nema 23 be a better option to increase the speed? I understand that nema 23 is stronger than nema 17, but is it faster also?

You will gain torque with the smaller pitch. CNC doesn't go nearly as fast as 3D printing so I would guess this is okay (speed reduction) and honestly preferred to an extent. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

I tried a 2mm and it was soooo slow, or you will need a 32bits motherboard to calculate all the step needed to go faster.
I just bought another 8mm lead and it is perfect

I think you made a mistake in the answer, did you try first the 1,5 pitch and then you bought de 2mm pitch screw?
no i dont made any mistake ahah , i tried 2mm first, and it's soooooooo slow and motors with arduino can reach satisfying speed, so i bought 8mm lead, waaaay more faster
I use 8mm leadscrew with 8mm lead (1 revolution make the cariage move by 8mm)
OK, I got it now, I read on the forum that the nema 23 version will have 12 mm diameter lead screw, what pitch do you use at that lead screw?
I am having difficulty finding leadscrews, I need 1000mm
I was going to go for 10mm and had ordered 3 from Accu.co.uk but they were single start and 2mm lead. Having read you comments, Topsie, I have cancelled the order but cannot find anything suitable with 8mm lead without going up to 16mm diameter which is obviously way to big.
Any suggestions where to get 10 or 12 mm with the required lead?

I want to use a T12 screw. I found at Motedis 12x6 (double lead). Do you think that's enough because Topsie said he was using a T8x8 ? I seems to be difficult to find T12x8... Thank you so much.

I am curently working at the construction of NEMA 23 version but I will buy the lead screws only after TOPSIE will publish the video/site article with the final version. I also looked at Motedis lead screws, Motedis is the store from where I ordered the aluminium profiles. I live in Romania and here I can t find lead screws with long lenghts.
