Can someone please help with a simple diagram for the wiring the "Big Nema23 CNC Kit" with power supply, nema23 driver and arduino and shield. I can follow the nema 17 setup but this is the combination for the heavy model. Closeup photo from the setup by topsie will also help.

yes i have and it is a fantastic article.
But my kit is the one Topsie uses with nema 23 Big Nema23 CNC Kit : 3x BIG Nema23 + PSU + 3x Driver and for z i will use nema 17.
Nema 17 will be connected to the shield with one DRV8825, but where do I connect the DM542Y to the shield ? or ?
and do I connect the 36V power supply DC 9.8A to the shield or the 12V 5A power supply (about 60W) ?
I need to do the excact same setup as you can se Topsie uses in his video with the Nema23

Connect the 36v direct to Dm542 than you can go with wire to the Shield (12-36v). For going from the Shield to driver if i remembrement rirgth Topsie explain this in his vidéo. I will tale a look this day. Have Google for...Topsie is not the only one how use this Shield...
For signal (step and dir) you have to connect step (bleue pin) and dir (yelow pin) from de shield (on the upper left side of the shield) to step+ and dir + from your driver. Do not use both redirection and on board driver on the same axis. Step - and Dir- from the driver have to be connected to GND pin of the shield. Topsie use an unused end stop gnd.
