A local shop surprisingly only sells 1500mm T8 lead screws. What do you think, will it be too big for 8mm screws and nema17 motors? Or does the length of the axis matter that much?
I thinks it's perfect for 1500mm x 1500mm profil, give you a very good 1300 x 1300mm working area
That's exactly the size I built mine. I have no issues. The 8mm trapezoidal whips just hair but not enough to cause any issues.
Salut,
@Matthew Garner,
a video maybe? I have friends who tell me that with a screw of 8 it will never go ..: /
Please where did you purchase the T8 lead screws?
A good company from portugal! They ship worldwide

I will upload a video soon I've got a few of the build. Ive actually got it up and running. I just haven't done any videos since I got it up because I have been busy learning how to use it. You can keep an eye out on www.youtube.com/c/fixeduntilbroken thats my channel. I think I am going to film that tonight. I ordered my 8mm 1500mm 2mm pitch on alibaba its was like $80 after shipping since I went with fedex but the rods/nuts was only around $25 total.
