hello I hope everyone is fine, it is the first time that I build a cnc and there are many things that I do not understand, I consider that I followed all the steps as you showed them in the videos, but when I started the cnc it does not work as it should, in several points I do not know what to do as I comment I do not have knowledge of these issues and there are some points that I do not know how to solve.
1. The motors make strange sounds when they are stopped.
2. Compared to the videos that I have seen from other tops users, mine when moving makes it much slower.
3. I tried to do a test to see if the machine made a circle and as an experiment I put a pilot on it with tape. The dimension of the circle in the software VS that of the machine were very different.
I hope you can help me, I am excited to use the cnc.

I'll try to help you ... with my poorly english and expérience ! :-)
1°) Could you post a vidéo to show us the noise of the motors ... it's maybe normal !
2°) Are you sure you use the good screw T8 / pitch 2 mm / Lead 8mm (1 turn will provide 8 mm advance) and not Lead 2 mm as the majority of the T8 ?
3°) Are you sure of you values in your CNCJS Setup ??? could you post your setup so we could verify ?
In your case it's could be a Hardware problem and/or a Setup problem !!! but i suspect a setup problem ...

1. I think you should turn the small adjustment screw on your DRV8825 until your Nema 17 no longer makes noise.
2. see the pitch of your T8 screw (1 or 2 mm).
3. see the settings on CNCJS ($).
