The goal of this topic is to centralize all problems encountered during the build process of the TopsCNC.
Let me know wich problem you have, and let's try to find a solution all together !
I am posting here for others to see, though Topsie has already gotten back to me on the issue:
I'm having a huge issue right now that I can't figure out. I made no changes with the exception that my extrusion center hole was an M6. The screws that are tapped in are rubbing the y rails. I went out and purchased flat screws, but they are still rubbing the y rails. I am posting a picture for clarity. That screw on the bottom rubbing the y rails has been ground even more than its original flat shape. At this point I'm worried my only option is to leave out the bottom three screws, but I don't know what kind of issues that will create. I contemplated counter sinking, but I don't know what kind of issues that will cause without 100% infill. Any help would be appreciated.
He responded it was okay to remove the bottom three screws. If I come up with an alternative I will post here.
Yes I remove the three screws, I will fix this problem in the 3D file so we can put this screw too.
Thaks for your feed back !
Thanks for bringing this up, I just modified mine as well for this. No Fastners in my 3D model yet.
Yep i modify mine too ! It's a mistake
